Keeping all
comments in mind, I personally have ranked
Just Eat to be the top option. Now before I explain why I rank Just Eat as the
best option, please remember that each of these platforms may be optimal in
different locations, such as Deliveroo being optimal in the city centre, whereas
Just Eat may be much better for the suburbs.
The reason I
rank Just Eat as the best option is due to its simplicity, when I order food, all
I have to do is find a good restaurant, see what I want, and place an order,
and on average I only have to pay an extra £2. To put it simply I enjoy how
simple Just Eat ordering is. There is no sort of deal or discount, and the
price of my order is never too far from what I have to pay.
Whereas if
we look at Just eats’ competitors (Uber Eats and Deliveroo) I feel as though as
soon as I go onto the app I am sifting through a barrage of deals and
discounts, some of which work with a different set of restaurants than others-
not to mention the ads for the platforms’ own services, where they advertise
free delivery on eligible orders and £5 credit of your order arrives late.
In addition
to this, I also feel as though I am paying much more for my order on these two
platforms, with fees for if my order is too small, or if my order is further
away than expected- all in all I can’t help but feel slightly overwhelmed.
However, as
I initially said, some of these fees may be dependent on the fact that I live
in the suburbs, and so Just eat is my preferred choice, however that not to say
Just eat cannot be improved.
I would
highly enjoy features on Just eat that platforms such as Uber eats and
Deliveroo do have- such as live tracking delivery. I have lately experienced
ordering through Fresh Eats, I have to
admit their service was very good and my order total was lot less than I used
to pay through Just Eats.
